Arrive in Kathmandu and meet your tour team. Attend a tour briefing, complete bike inspection and gear check, and prepare for the journey ahead. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Optional sightseeing includes Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa. Tour operators finalize China visa and Tibet Travel Permit. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Begin your first motorbike leg through the scenic hills of Nepal, passing terraced farms, rivers, and traditional villages. Overnight in Syabrubesi.
Altitude: 2,000 m → 2,600 m (Gyirong)
Distance/Ride Time: ~120 km | 4–5 hours
Ride to Gyirong (Kyirong) border, complete Tibet entry formalities, and ride a short distance into Tibet. Overnight in Gyirong.
Altitude: 2,600 m → 4,300 m

Ride north onto the Tibetan Plateau, gradually ascending to higher altitudes. Overnight in Old Tingri, acclimatizing to ~4,300 m.

Distance/Ride Time: 80–100 km | 3–4 hours + shuttle
Ride to Rongbuk Monastery, one of the world’s highest monasteries. Continue to the North Everest Base Camp viewpoint to explore the area and witness Mount Everest’s north face. Overnight near EBC/Rongbuk in basic guesthouse or tent.
Altitude: 5,200 m → 4,350 m → 3,860 m
Distance/Ride Time: ~400 km | 7–8 hours
Optional sunrise over Everest if weather permits. Ride back to Tingri and continue via the Friendship Highway to Shigatse. Overnight in Shigatse.
Altitude: 3,860 m → 3,836 m → 3,650 m
Distance/Ride Time: ~420 km | 7–8 hours
Stop at Gyantse Kumbum and monastery, then ride to Lhasa with scenic views across the Tibetan plateau. Overnight in Lhasa.

Explore Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and Barkhor Street. Optional visits to Drepung or Sera Monastery for further cultural insight. Overnight in Lhasa.

Distance/Ride Time: ~450 km | 7–8 hours
Catch sunrise over Namtso Lake, then ride back to Lhasa before continuing to Shigatse. Overnight in Shigatse.

Descend from the Tibetan Plateau toward Gyirong. Complete Tibet exit formalities and overnight near the border, in Syabrubesi or Kathmandu vicinity.

Final leg back to Kathmandu, completing the motorbike adventure across Nepal and Tibet. Tour concludes.
