If you receive communication from us, it is because:

• You have directly requested information from us, or
• A friend or colleague has requested it on your behalf

We are dedicated to respecting your privacy and only using your information for the purposes intended.

Policies

1. Health

Good health and physical fitness are essential for all trekking trips. We recommend that all participants undergo a medical examination before joining any extended trek. If a participant requires additional physical support, arrangements can be made in advance at an additional cost. Please inform us of any health issues at the time of booking.

2. Insurance

All travelers booking a trek with NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. must have comprehensive travel insurance that includes:

• Trip cancellation
• Medical coverage and accidents
• Emergency evacuation (including helicopter rescue)
• Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings

Emergency evacuation costs must be paid in cash in Nepal unless your insurance company agrees to cover these expenses directly. Note that rescue insurance is not available within Nepal. Your insurance must not exclude high-altitude trekking, mountaineering, or alpinism.

3. Advance Payment

To secure your booking, we require:

• A 20% deposit at the time of booking
• An additional 15% payment no later than 15 days before the trip departure

4. Full Payment

The remaining balance is payable upon arrival in Kathmandu. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in trip cancellation without refund.

5. Last-Minute Booking

We accept bookings made within 5 days of departure, but a 50% advance payment of the total trip cost is required to confirm such bookings.

6. Cancellation Policy

Once a trip is booked, changes to the itinerary by the client are not allowed. NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any part of the itinerary to meet local conditions or safety requirements.

7. Liability

As a destination management company, NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. is not liable for unexpected events such as:

• Accidents or injuries
• Delays, weather disturbances, or political unrest
• Lost or stolen items
• Baggage issues or rerouting
• Strikes, floods, or natural disasters

All associated costs and personal expenses are the responsibility of the traveler.

8. Complaints

If any issue arises during your trip, we are committed to resolving it before your departure from Nepal. Please report any complaints to our team as soon as possible, so we can address them promptly.

9. Pricing Policy

All prices quoted are based on current rates at the time of booking. However, NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to adjust prices in response to:

• Currency fluctuations
• Changes in local taxes or permit fees
• Increases in accommodation or transportation costs
• Local government decisions or unexpected surcharges
