Privacy Policy

At NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. we are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information you share with us—such as your name, address, phone number, or email—will be kept strictly confidential. We do not sell, trade, or publish your details under any circumstances.

If you receive communication from us, it is because you either requested it directly or someone (such as a friend or colleague) has done so on your behalf.

01. Health

Good physical health and fitness are essential for all trekking trips. We strongly recommend that participants undergo a medical check-up before undertaking extended treks. If you require additional support due to physical limitations, we can provide assistance upon request; however, this will incur an extra charge and must be arranged in advance.

02. Insurance

All trekkers must have comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Accidents and medical treatment
  • Emergency evacuation (including helicopter rescue)
  • Loss, theft, or damage to baggage and personal items

All evacuation costs must be paid in cash in Nepal unless your insurance provider agrees to cover the expenses directly. Note that rescue insurance is not available within Nepal, and your insurance must not exclude mountaineering or alpine activities.

03. Advance Payment

To secure your booking, a 20% deposit of the total trip cost is required at the time of reservation. An additional 15% must be paid at least 15 days before the departure date.

04. Full Payment

The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu. Failure to make the required payments within the specified timelines may result in trip cancellation.

05. Last-Minute Bookings

We accept last-minute bookings made within 15 days of departure, but these require a 50% advance payment of the total trip cost.

06. Cancellation Policy

Clients are not permitted to alter the itinerary once the booking is confirmed. NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any part of the itinerary due to local conditions.

07. Liability

NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. acts solely as a destination management company. We are not liable for unforeseen events such as:

  • Accidents or injuries
  • Loss or damage of personal belongings
  • Delays or changes due to weather, political unrest, strikes, or natural disasters
  • Extra costs due to rerouting or excess baggage charges

All such expenses are the responsibility of the traveler.

08. Complaints

If you have any complaints regarding our services, we will address and resolve them prior to your departure from the destination country. Please report any issues as soon as they arise.

09. Pricing Policy

Trip prices are valid as mentioned in your booking confirmation or trip offer. However, NORD EXTREME HIMALAYA Pvt. Ltd. reserves the right to adjust prices in case of:

  • Currency fluctuations
  • Increases in government taxes or permit fees
  • Changes in local costs ( Flights and Transportation)
  • Sudden regulatory or administrative changes
