Mr Sonam Gyaljen Sherpa is one of the best and famous clan of the Everest Region. His childhood was spent in the small village of Solukhumbu known as 'Khari Khola'. He had completed his Secondary School from the famous school called Edmund Hillary School which lies Solukhumbu. His Father is expert in the trekking field. Similarly, same nature can be seen in Mr Sherpa as a son. So, he had started to work in various trekking and tour offices continuously for sixteen years. During that period, he had gained lots of experiences as General Manager of the travel companies and a Program Manager in INGO as well. Now he is working in INGO known as 'Smile For Help' which serve for 'cancer affected' children and provide education and health facilities to needy person as well. Mr. Sherpa also donate some of his office's 2.5% profit to this INGO. He is the founder and also General Secretary of the Jubing Sherpa Society. And he had left from leading the 'Nord Extreme Himalaya (P) ltd'. After getting many experience from many field, now a days he had his own trekking office in which there is qualified and experienced, two staff and eight multilingual guides. Mr. Sherpa's skill is not only spread in Nepal but also in foreign countries like USA, Canad, Alaska, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Bhutan, Qatar, Oman, Abudhabi ,Tibet and India as well. By visiting various countries he had learned various cultures, traditions and the way to respect them. The Managing Director Mr. Sherpa insists on travelling through an experienced travel company nearly for two decades since he started.
Ang Dawa Sherpa is the trek Operatio Manager and principal trek leader of this company. Having become a Sirdar (guide) early in his career, Ang Dawa has now been a senior leader in the Nepali trekking industry for over 24 years. He has actively led over 100 treks of varying lengths and difficulty levels throughout Nepal and Tibet for an international trekking company during the past 15 years. His significant knowledge base, leadership, medical and language skills have been sought after by a number of foreign private schools and NGO organizations, resulting in his organizing and leading a variety of specialist treks.
Pem Dorji Sherpa grew up in Solukhumbu as someone who's fascinated to explore and learn everything that the Himalayas has to offer. He is a certified and licensed climbing Guide / Trekking Guide (licensed by Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal). Mr. Sherpa has been a professional trekker for the past 12 years and is an integral part of our team since 2014. He has been certified for successfully climbing 7000m/ high Mountains including Imja-Tse which is 6165m. And He leads many trips to Tibet and China. Mr. Sherpa is responsible to execute a safe and successful climb using his expertise, which he developed during Advanced Mountaineering Training issued by Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). He has also been awarded for his successfully completion of the Rock Climbing Course by Nepal Mountaineering Instructors Association (NMIA). He provides essential equipment, instructions and opening routes to climbers. He is our trusted, well-known trekker and have guided thousands of climbers in his entire professional career.
Mr. Lhakpa Sonam Sherpa is one of the highly experienced guide from Nord Extreme with over years of touring and travelling, he is humble and highly driven individual. He began to climb mountains at a very early age, he gave continuity to his passion ever since. He is a certified and licensed climbing Guide / Trekking Guide (licensed by Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal). Mr. Sherpa has been guiding with us since 2016 and been active ever since. He is able to lead a trek being mindful from both the trekker and a guide’s perspective. Being highly experienced he can handle emergency situations and performs well under pressure. He has immense interest in writing, reading, traveling, surfing the net, interacting with people. Mr. Ang Furwa Sherpa born in Solukhumbu district of Nepal is an honest, hardworking, experienced as well as government registered professional trekking guide who has been working in tourism since eight years. He has received trekking guide training conducted by Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) and also other tourism related trainings conducted by various organizations. He is now very much familiar with popular trekking regions of Nepal such as Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and many others trekking regions including, Dolpo, Upper Mustang, Narphu Valley, and other new trekking routes.
